Arbonne intelligence — exfoliating mask?
I started using arbonne about a week ago. And just last night I used the exfoliating mask. When I put it on though, it started burning, and I know after you put it on you’re supposed to rub a little water over it. But, I was sort of kicked out of the bathroom for a bit, and it was still burning.
After rinsing it off my whole face was red where I had rubbed it on.
I didn’t think ‘any’ face mask was supposed to burn, no matter how long you leave it on. Is this one supposed to do that?

Yes, this is completely normal for the Intelligence Thermal Fusion mask. The sensation that you felt is described on the back of the bottle and means that it’s doing it’s job. This is an indication that the product is properly activated and is working to remove dead skin cells. Although the first couple of uses is a little uncomfortable for 30 mins. to an hour (this is why we suggest only using the mask at night), it goes away. This mask is a very unique masque formulated with Thermal Fusion technology to increase microcirculation and cell proliferation to combine the benefits of scrub and a masque for deep-cleansing results. 4-5 consecutive uses of this mask is the equivalent of a chemical peel, without the peeling. After several uses of the mask, you will not experience the warmth and the redness and it will leave your skin looking great and feeling ultra soft.
To use the mask properly, using dry fingertips, massage a generous amount onto the face using circular motions (be sure to avoid the eye area). Activate the enzymes by applying water onto the fingertips and again, massage in circular motions. We suggest leaving the masque on for up to five minutes. Remove by rinsing with cool water.
