Is self tanning lotion healthy or not?
I started using it to get tan before beach season, but I wonder if it’s healthy to get tan without the sun, or if there is anything negative to it.
Sunless tanners work by activating the melanin in your skin without exposing your body to the sun’s UVA and UVB rays (getting a tan is your body’s defense against the sun). Therefore, a sunless tan is actually better for your skin than going out into the sun.
