Believe Tanning Lotion
What ingredients in indoor tanning lotion cause allergic reactions?
I recently purchased a new indoor tanning lotion (called Believe). It contains bronzer and a cooling effect. I have been tanning for weeks, without a problem.. but since I started using this lotion (just 2 times), i get an intense pins and needles effect when I tan, and for the rest of the day, even if i shower immediately. I’m not getting anything close to a sunburn, and the lotion isn’t supposed to have any tingle factor in it… so what might be causing this feeling? Today, I had to get out of the tanning bed after just 3 minutes–and it wasn’t even warm in there yet. Any suggestions for hypo-allergenic indoor tanning lotions, or does anyone know what ingredient in Believe might be causing my intense itching? Thanks!
It may be the preservatives they use to keep the product from growing bacteria, this is what alot of people are becoming allergic to these days. I would switch back to what you were using befor and tell the people where you tan, maybe they can let you sample some others before buying as I know those creams can be rather pricy…
