Blackhead Makeup Remover

The sun is damaging to any skin type. Having large pores and not protecting your skin from the sun makes the situation worse. Being in the sun without protection, causes sun damage, which in turn causes blackheads that will enlarge the pores.
How well a sunscreen protects your skin depends on how well you use it. Here’s how to get the most of your sun protection. Stay away from midday sun. Avoid the sun between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, when the sun’s rays are the strongest. Slather on sunscreen early. Apply a sunscreen a half-hour before you go out to allow it to penetrate your skin’s top layer, and 15 minutes before you apply makeup.
Sun block protection starts as soon as you apply it, but it’s still a good idea to rub it in before you go out. Read the label for reapplication instructions. Don’t be stingy. To get a sunscreen’s full protection, you have to use the right amount. Experts recommend using about an ounce of lotion per application to cover your entire body. So don’t expect that four-ounce bottle to last the whole summer. But even if you’re only buying enough sunscreen for a three-day jaunt, check the expiration date; sunscreen has a limited shelf life. That advice goes double for lotions that have been sitting in your bathroom closet or beach bag since your last sunny vacation.
Smooth on sunscreen everywhere your bare flesh is exposed-every day. Protect your legs, even your knees, the back of your hands and your forearms too. Apply sunscreen under your clothes, too, if you’ll be outdoors all day. The sun can penetrate some fabrics, especially bathing suits and cotton shirts, burning your less exposed, most vulnerable skin.
Sunscreens fade away when you swim, towel off after a swim and perspire-even while you’re just basking in the sun. So keep covering up with sunscreen throughout the day. Don’t forget your lips. Even though you don’t have to worry about large pores on your lips, unprotected lips can get badly burned, and repeated exposure to the sun can leave lips less than alluring.
Be mindful of your medications. If you’re treating your large pores with prescription drugs, they can make you exquisitely sensitive to sunlight, leaving you with what looks and feels like bad sunburn if you go out unprotected while taking the medication.
