California Tan Ginger
I have ginger hair and pale skin. I’d like to try a level 1 california spray tan – am I going to go orange?!

I am a spray tan technician based in Glasgow, and don’t like california tan myself, as I do find it quite orange.

The best thing to do when going for a spray tan is make sure that the technician is not using an HVLP machine as they spray too much onto the skin, making you very orange and can make you patchy too.

The best form of spray tanning is when the technician uses a small airbrush gun, and find a tan which has more yellow tones.

I would try it before a big event to make sure you are happy with the results and if you don’t it’s no big deal, if you exfoliate it will disappear within a few days.
