There are two sides to every story, some people would be shocked to here that tanning helps acne and some people swear by it. But the fact of the matter is that tanning doesn’t help cure acne, it helps by blending the pimples into your skin because your skin is a darker color. It can also help to blend in scars that you have had from previous pimples but will not cure pimples. Pimples are created by excess oil on the skin getting trapped in your hair follicles, when your pore is clogged your body sends bacteria to attack the blockage creating the inflamed and red look. When you tan your skin will darken and the redness of the pimple will become less clear. This is basically another version of cover up.
Tanning is very dangerous for our skin, when we are young it may look attractive but in 30 years you will start to see the effects of tanning. Tanning creates wrinkles and uneven skin tones over a long period of time, it can also cause you to get cancer of the skin.
