Can you still become tan from the sun with Salley Hansen’s Airbrush Legs on?
Can you still become tan from the sun with Salley Hansen’s Airbrush Legs on? To anyone else who uses this I was wondering if you notice it washes off right in the shower. Does anyone know an alternative so it lasts longer or is it just a “special occasion” type product?
Salon Bronze, available at Wal-Greens, is the best air-brush AND self-tanner that I’ve ever found. I have tried a TON of products and brands–both high-end and low. Salon Bronze is awesome and cost effective. It’s a little messy since you spray it in the shower but it washes out very, very easily. It lasts on your skin several days and fades “gracefully”. It will spit some spots out of the sprayer sometimes which will need to be dabbed off. This is a small problem compared to most self-tanners.
To answer your other question, yes, you can tan in the sun with a self-tanner on. So much so, I highly recommend a sunscreen on top of at least SPF 15. Sure, it may take you longer to tan but it will help protect both your health AND your skin from aging. Don’t mean to be a downer but I have a friend in her 20′s just diagnosed with melanoma. She can never go in the sun again without hats, umbrellas, etc.
I also love the sun, so I can understand that you want to be in it. Just take care…we only have one set of skin!!
