Whoever thought this was a break in between two America ‘s Next Top Model Cycles? Apparently Tyra Banks is making sure that her reality show stays in the spotlight as E! Network featured it in True Hollywood Story, numerous contestant interviews and Tyra’s very own America ‘s Next Top Model Exposed specials. So basically, we’re so full of America ‘s Next Top Model that we all doubt if there’s any more information that we do not know of yet. Of course, the unpredictable Tyra cooked up another one of her schemes and came up with “ANTM insider secrets” on her daily talk show on Wednesday. Isn’t that just pushing it?
So for Tyra’s “inside scoop,” she revealed that Cycle 1 runner up Shannon Stewart recently got married. Shannon is one of the final two in season 1, where she stood next to Adrianne Curry, who eventually grabbed the title and won the competition.
But then again, Shannon isn’t the first to come up with a romance. In fact, Adrianne already went ahead and dated Peter Brady (Christopher Knight), and this relationship was a very public and stormy romance. Nonetheless Shannon revealed her secret during the episode, saying that she married another model last year and have now settled in Indiana . Moreover, Shannon is working on a book about her life, tentatively titled Model for Christ.
Shannon previously decided to ditch a nude shoot for her AMNT Cycle, due to her religious beliefs. She thought that it was about time to tell her story, saying “I just want to encourage others that they can still achieve their dreams even if they keep their standards high.”
She continued to explain that refraining from nude modeling hasn’t hurt her career, saying, “Last year was my best year, so you don’t have to do that kind of stuff to make it.”
Fans can catch Shannon in this week’s Entertainment Weekly and in upcoming commercials for skin care line Freeze 24/7.
