Skin Care Lotion
What is your basic skin care regime? What can someone use daily to improve their facial complexion?
I don’t wear make up, and usually just wash my face and lotion. However, now that I’m getting older, I’d like to take better care of my facial complexion. What do all of you use for your daily skin care regime? Please provide step by step instructions. I’ve read that a cleaner, moisturizer, toner, etc are needed. Anything else? What order do you apply these things and what brand do you use? Thanks.
1st – wash your face with a good cleanser, I prefer organic-based products, being that their free of harmful chemicals, and alcohol.) Make sure while washing to do your hands in upward circles. You always want to make sure you do it this way being that tugging down on your skin can damage and wrinkle your face.
2nd – Apply a toner. There are 2 application types. One is a spray that you mist your face with, the other you apply with a cotton ball. Let this soak into your face,
3rd – If using an eyecream apply in a patting motion around the eye. Be sure not to tug harshly this is the most delicate area of skin on the body.
4th – While the toner is still dewy (the above the same) Put a dime size amount of moisturizer on the upper part of fingers (from the middle knuckle to the tips) run your hands together making sure to only get the fingers then apply to face in the same circular motions as with washing. I don’t completely rub mine in, I leave it slightly and let my skin naturally absorb it. Don’t forget to do the same with your neck (but use swipping downward motions here)
