What can one use to help with swelling skin almost to the ripping point due to toxemia during pregnancy?

I am a 39 yr old woman who is 32 weeks pregnant. have toxemia, gestational diabetes and am also anemic; my skin is swelling to the point of getting ready to rip open, at least it is pretty close, it feels like my feet are being stung by fire ants, that is how severe it has gotten, what can I put on my skin to help? Tried hydrocortizone, vaseline, foot care products, cold cloth, nothing works and I cannot tolerate this much longer.

2 suggestions. Try some supportive pantyhose. I can not think of what they are called, but they are very tight and give a lot of support. I wore the my last few weeks of pregnanys because I was a small framed person, but gained well over 50 lbs, giving birth to a nearly 10 lbs baby. The other thing you could try, but get the ok from you ob first, is a dip in the ocean if possable (not sure where you live) This will give you a lot of boyancy, and take some of the pressue off, especially your back and legs. It can also be good for the skin and streach marks. Just be sure to get the ok first, I am not sure with toxemia. Good luck!
