Gold Vintage Gold

Now that I have cleaned out my jewelry box where can I sell my gold?

That may be the question that you are asking if you have found an array of mismatched pieces or one of a set of earrings that of course you can no longer use. Realizing that the gold is valuable most people do not want to throw them out, but the question still remains where to sell my gold that is in them.

With the value of gold at the highest it has been in years, now may be the time to sell. No one knows just how much higher that it will go or when it will level off. Nor does any one know when it will begin to decrease in value. Surely, now would be a good time to pack up that old gold and get some real money in its place.

So, where the question is where to go to sell my gold? One of the easiest ways to locate a place that will buy your gold is to go online and do a search. You will find many places that will offer to buy your gold but one of the best in the industry is Dollars4Gold.

Of course, you may want to look locally for a place that will purchase your gold. Places like pawn shops and jewelry stores may purchase old gold jewelry, but in order to find out if they would be interested in purchasing your gold you will need to pack it up and visit their locations.

It may take several hours or even several days to find a dealer that will make a good offer on your gold, so make sure that you allot yourself enough time to make that journey.

Most of us are not even aware of the true value of the gold that is in their possession. Oh sure we know what we originally paid for it, but since it was a most likely a piece of jewelry when it was purchased the value is likely not the same. With this in mind it might be best to do a little research into the value of old gold jewelry.

You may still be asking the question that was posed above, “where do I go to sell my gold?” You are the only one that can answer that question. Whatever you do when you are looking for a place to sell your gold you should be sure to check them out to make sure that they are a reputable business. This can be done through the Better Business Bureau.

So take your time and do your homework and you should be able to sell your gold and make a bit of extra money to boot.
