Skin Care Specialist Salary

September 18th, 2007 No comments

Esthetics/Skin care specialist. What is the demand and salary?

I’ve looked at the 600hr training for this job, and it really sparks my interest. I am 24, and still have not found my calling. I have a job, but not a real profession. Can anyone tell me more about it, as far as the demand for this job, and average salary? I don’t want to pay for school, and then things not turn out for me. If anyone knows more about it, please fill me in? Thank you! ;)

Demand depends on where you live, really. Also, we’re in an economic downturn, so you might want a plan B in mind…look at the Occupational Outlook handbook, which comes out yearly. You can find it in a local library or look up the link online. It will give you stats, training info, and project future outlooks for hundreds of jobs.
BTW, healthcare is in demand right now, and that is worth considering.
